Delta Airlines to offer lie flat seats in busness class

Business class flyers travelling from London to various destinations in the United States will soon have new options available in their seats.

The first is that lie-flat seats will be introduced in the airline's BusinessElite cabins. The seats extend to 77 inches long (about 6ft 5ins) and all passengers will have direct access to an aisle.

Additional features also include a full size pillow and duvet, extra large tables, reading light, storage area for shoes, ergonomic support and PC power and USB ports for travellers who need to work on the flight.

Joanne Smith from Delta Airlines said [quote] "We know our elite international business customers want the ultimate in high-flying comfort that only a true full-flat seat can give."

Delta Airlines have also announced that their will soon take delivery of new Boeing 777 Long Range aircraft - allowing it to provide more fully lie-flat suites with beds up to 75 inches.
