Cardiff Airport predicts a bright future

Cardiff Airport's new Managing Director, Patrick Duffy, who officially started in the new role on February 1st has said that hes extremely thrilled at working at the airport and with a great team.

He also said that he predicts a bright future for the airport which reported over 2.7 million passengers used the airport in 2007. The new MD believes that the airport has tremendous long-term prospects.

Cardiff Airport is owned by TBI - who also own Belfast International Airport.

The airport has also recently launched a new campaign to encourage more airlines to use the airport and get business travellers to use the airport for their international flights.

Cardiff Airport is situated a short distance off the M4 motorway to the west of Cardiff in Wales.
