British Airways stops London City to Milan flights

Saturday 23 February 2008 11:45 AM
Before the end of February, British Airways will stop flights from London City Airport to Milan in Italy.

The airline said the reason for the flights being stopped was down to operational reasons.

Passengers who have already booked tickets are asked to check with the airline as flights may still happen on key-dates.

The airline currently also operates a route between London Heathrow and Milan airport. It also flies short haul flights from Heathrow and Gatwick airports.

At the end of March, BA will start flights to several new destinations from London City Airport, including: Amsterdam, Barcelona, Nice and Warsaw in Poland.
