British Airways increase fuel surcharges

Friday 22 February 2008 10:35 AM
Starting from 25th February, British Airways are set to increase the fuel surcharge on long haul flights.

For flights up to 9 hours in length, the surcharge will be £53 each way.

For longer flights, the surcharge will increase to £64 each way - a massive £128 per return flight.

The announcement comes after oil prices continue to remain high - and keeping the price of fuel high.

The fuel surcharge on short-haul flights remains £10 each way - so £20 for a return flight.

British Airways offers short and long haul flights across the UK, Europe and rest of the world.
