Aer Lingus launch new flights from Belfast to Paris

Saturday 16 February 2008 11:32 PM
Flights from Belfast to Paris are scheduled to start later this year with Irish airline, Aer Lingus announcing new flights between the two cities.

Starting on 30th March, the new once-a-day service will fly to Paris's Charles de Gaulle Airport.

To fit the new route into its existing flight schedule, Aer Lingus will reduce the frequency of its Belfast to Amsterdam flight from twice a day to once a day.

Northern Ireland is becoming increasingly popular with French visitors and Aer Lingus have seen a high demand in flights to Paris.

Aer Lingus only started flying from Northern Ireland in late 2007 and currently offers flights from Belfast to Barcelona and Geneva. Later in 2008, the airline will launch routes to Rome, Nice, Faro, Budapest and Malaga.
