Flybe expands domestic services from Bristol Airport

Monday 7 December 2009 8:11 AM
Flybe has introduced a new thrice-weekly domestic route to the Isle of Man for customers travelling from Bristol Airport.

The airline has also announced that it plans to expand its services to Jersey in the hope of boosting domestic tourism.

A spokesman from Flybe said that the new services would be affordable while giving passengers the chance to "travel in style".

Aviation director at Bristol Airport, Shaun Browne, said: "We are delighted that Flybe will be operating additional flights from Bristol International and we look forward to working together to ensure the success of these and other potential routes in future."

Flybe’s new Isle of Man route will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, and will take just over an hour.

A Saturday service will be added for the summer schedule between May and September.

Passengers who prefer to travel further a field for holidays can fly to a number of skiing holiday destinations. Bristol Airport launched its first ski flight of the winter 2009-10 season on 6 December.
