Newcastle to Murcia with easyJet

Starting in May 2008, easyJet will commence a three-times a week service between Newcastle Airport in England to Murcia Airport in Spain.

Tickets will start from just £23.99 one-way including all taxes and with Murcia being a popular family destinations for sunshine holidays and also for mini-breaks, the airline is expecting for over 40,000 passengers to use this route in the first 12 months.

A spokesman for easyJet said [Quote] "Murcia has proven to be a popular destination from other easyJet bases in the UK and now independent travellers from the North-East can take advantage of this new service from our Newcastle base, to one of the Spain’s most popular city’s which provides easy access to the picturesque Costa Dorada. This new route will increase the number of easyJet destinations from Newcastle to 17, re-enforcing easyJet’s commitment to the North East."

easyJet are one of the biggest budget airlines in Europe operating in excess of 340 routes across Europe.
