TPSIrish airline Ryanair has announced seven new destinations from London Luton Airport, which are already on sale for travel from 27th October 2008. This brings the overall number of Ryanair routes from London Luton to 20.

The seven new routes include international services to Beziers (twice weekly) and Biarritz (three times weekly) in France, Rzeszow (twice weekly) and Szczecin (three times weekly) in Poland, Trapani (three times weekly) in Italy, and Kaunas (three times weekly) in Lithuania, and a domestic service to Derry (three times weekly).

London Luton Airport Marketing Director Natalie Raper said: "We are delighted to announce these new routes with Ryanair giving our passengers yet more choice of places visit and more convenience for business travellers.

The airline’s decision to expand the number of destinations served from London Luton reaffirms the airport’s ease of use with great transport connections and close proximity to London. Our route network now covers over 95 destinations and Ryanair is an important partner in the ongoing success of the airport.”

Meanwhile Ryanair has intensified its campaign against screen scrapers. From 11th August 2008, it will cancel all bookings made through screen scraping by third parties. Successful legal challenges have already been mounted against websites which use screen scraping, which the airline say is an infringement of copyright.
