New London to Salzburg route for easyJet

easyJet has announced a new three times weekly route from London Gatwick to Salzburg, Austria. The new route offers fares from just GBP32.99 one way (including tax) and takes off from 13th December 2008.

With the announcement of the new Salzburg route, the total number of easyJet routes available from London Gatwick airport has risen to 50. easyJet expects over 16,000 passengers to travel on the new service.

easyJet’s UK General Manager Commercial David Osborne said [quote] "Salzburg is yet another exciting destination to add to easyJet's Gatwick network. We expect Salzburg to be popular with passengers seeking a city break away or a great ski destination for those looking to hit the slopes this winter. "

easyJet has more flights to the snow from Gatwick this winter than any other airline and Salzburg joins other popular ski destinations such as Geneva, Innsbruck, Lyon and Sofia.
