Glasgow to Paris route started by easyJet

Starting on 29th October 2007, easyJet will starting flying from Glasgow to Paris Charles de Gaulle airport.

The service will initially operate once per day with flights costing from £21.99 one way including taxes.

The announcement of this new routes comes from an increasing demand for low-cost flights from Scotland to major cities in Europe.

In the last year, easyJet have carried almost 2 million passengers from Glasgow airport and its expected for 100,000 people will use this new route in the first year.

Its expected that demand from business travellers will be high on this route as the flight goes to Paris' main city airport - Charles de Gaulle.

The new route brings easyJets total destinations from Scottish airports to 28, with over 108 flights departing daily from the major scottish airports.
