Virgin Atlantic to offer cheap Chicago flights

Saturday 25 April 2009 1:07 PM

Virgin Atlantic has announced that its latest 'birthday present' to its passengers is a special return fare from London Heathrow to Chicago.

Virgin announced plans to launch a number of special offers every week up to its 25th birthday on June 22, earlier this year.

Return fares from London Heathrow to Chicago will cost just £250 for an economy ticket and £499 for a premium return (both prices include taxes and charges).

Virgin customers must book before the start of April for travel between March 26 and April 3, or April 8 and May 31 to take advantage of the offer.

The airline’s president, Sir Richard Branson, announced the launch of Virgin's new £1,239 round-the-world airfare to coincide with the commencement of its V Australia services between Los Angeles and Sydney.

Sir Richard commented: "The combination of Virgin Atlantic and V Australia offers travellers huge flexibility in their global planning and some of the best value round-the-world fares available."
