easyJet announce new route from Manchester to Alicante

From September 29th, easyJet will operate a new winter service from Manchester to Alicante in Spain.

The new service will fly four times a week with fares starting from just £27.99 one-way including taxes.

Carly Brear from easyJet said [quote] "is the first new route easyJet has introduced to its new Manchester base and we look forward to further expansion in the near future. This announcement so soon after we commenced flying from Manchester is proof of the fantastic support we have had to date from the people of Manchester and surrounding areas. "

Alicante is a popular destination across the easyJet network from other cities and the airline expects over 60,000 people to fly the new route in the first 12 months.

The new service from Manchester opens up possibilities for people from the North-West of England to easily fly to one of Spain's more popular destinations.
