Newcastle to Stavanger flights to now go direct

Wednesday 16 April 2008 8:31 AM
Eastern Airways has been operating flights from Newcastle to Stavanger in Denmark for sometime, but these flights have had a stop at Aberdeen.

Starting on 12th May, Eastern Airways will fly non-stop from Newcastle to Stavanger direct - cutting out the stop at Aberdeen airport.

Eastern Airways is expanding its services from Newcastle and this is just one of the new or improved services. Other improvements include higher frequency of flights from Newcastle to Cardiff, Aberdeen and Southampton.

Chris Holliday (good name!) from Eastern Aiways said [quote] "This is major milestone in the development of our Newcastle services....... After initially establishing a connecting service via Aberdeen, which showed there was demand for daily services between north east England and Stavanger, business travellers will now be able to make significant time savings with our new, convenient non-stop flights from Newcastle".
