London to Palanga and Vilnius in Lithuania

From May 17th, Lithuanian Airlines will be flying a twice a week service between London's Stansted Airport and Palanga in western Lithuania.

Stansted will also see a new service between Stansted and Vilnius - Lithuania's capital city. This is in addition to the existing London Gatwick to Vilnius service which flies four times a week.

Indre Trakimaite from the Lithuanian Tourist Board in the UK said [quote] "Direct flights from London to Palanga offer a splendid opportunity to visit the beautiful Curonian Spit, the seaport of Klaipeda and the popular summer resort Palanga and its Amber Museum, which has the largest amber collection in the world."
